This was the first vintage to have the DOC classification and was the product of an average growing season with rain at the end of harvest. It is a good version but not an outstanding one. The color is a nice ruby-garnet and the bouquet is slightly evolved with scents of damp earth, tamarind and hints of wild berries. The flavor is balanced with pronounced tannins and a slight bitterness in the aftertaste.
