When to drink: 1999 to 2024
A surprising vintage considering this was not an exceptional year for Tuscan reds. But Sassicaia has accustomed us to such performances. The intense ruby-garnet color has a nice concentration and is very lively, while the aromas are still distinct with pronounced scents of vanilla on red fruit. The mouthfeel is full, elegant and concentrated with sweet and balanced tannins and the persistence is decidedly long.
