When to drink: 2002 to 2032
This was Giacomo Tachis’ favorite vintage and he considered it to be even better than the ’85. The ruby color is intensely concentrated, profound and certainly now what one would expected from a wine of its age. The aromas are complex and concentrated with intense and elegant scents of red fruit. The mouthfeel is bold, concentrated and full with sweet tannins. The pleasing persistence has an after-aroma that brings back the bouquet.
