Deep, dark & almost opaque ruby-red color. Well-defined, ripe, black-cherry & cassis fruit aromas on the nose are intense & attractive. On the palate black-cherry & blackcurrant fruit has good depth & intensity, with notes of cedar, graphite & tobacco-leaf. The structured, mid-weight fruit is supported by good acidity & slightly warming alcohol. The finish lasts well. This is a classic, cedary wine with good depth.
