Description
The low average temperatures in spring led to late flowering (24/25 May). The summer was within the norm with temperatures that were not too hot. Rainfall around the middle of August initially slowed down grape ripening. A considerable rise in temperatures at the beginning of September then allowed the grapes to fully ripen. The grape harvest took place between 8 and 12 September. The grapes were harvested by hand with careful selection and delivered to the winery in optimum condition with a ripeness of around 23-25 degrees Brix.
