The secret behind Daphne Glorian's ability to produce one of the most internationally renowned wines was not only discovering the potential that lies in the vines of this incomparable wine region at the right time, but also her knowledge of the right way to handle the vines in this exceptionally beautiful but also very demanding wine region, because Priorat, with its own microclimate, which is mostly characterised by low rainfall, and the barren slate soils, demands everything from the vines and the winegrowers. This makes Daphne Glorian's achievement all the more impressive, as her wines are among the elite of the Spanish wine scene every year.
Daphne Glorian has been making her legendary cuvee of Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah since 1992, making her one of the pioneers in the mountainous Minian wine-growing region of D.O.Ca. Priorato.
