Rating 15/20
1986 drunk in a restaurant in Pisa for around 100 francs. A magnum in 1989: extreme honey and malt bouquet. Full sweetness with matching acidity. A normal bottle in 1992: Open bouquet; woolly at the beginning, then a hint of botrytis in it, gelatine. Biscuit flavour on the palate, malty, with traces of salt and a fine bitterness on the tongue. Bommes type. 98: Relatively light yellow colour. Soft, quite well-balanced bouquet; mirabelle flavour. Juicy, almost plump palate, unfortunately seems rather clumsy and ordinary towards the finish.
