Medium golden yellow; bright: open, fragrant dried apricot bouquet; sultanas and bitter oranges in it. Fine sweetness on the palate; khaki and caramelised oranges - together with the slightly cereal touch, this results in an affinity to a crêpes suzette, malty in the finish. (17/20). 11: Pierre Montegut picked up a bottle of Crème de Tête for a dinner at Pichon-Baron: Dark golden yellow colour. Delicate, enormously complex bouquet, blonde-orange touch, saffron, tangerine peel, shows a lot of sweetness in the nose. Lots of sultanas on the palate, very creamy, almost fat, powerful finish. A rich Sauternes that clearly shows the Surplus Crème de Tête as a special edition. 19/20.
