Start drinking maturity (2015 - 2060)
Valuation 20/20
Very dark, intense yellow colour with a first golden shimmer. Perfumed, mineral bouquet, Moroccan mint, sultanas, acacia honey and orange blossom, appears playful and is enormously complex. The palate begins with a lot of primary fruit and an ingenious minerality, the sweetness is elegant and the balance has rarely been so dance-like. A really great Nairac. Actually the opposite of the equally highly rated 2003. Somehow documents the purity of the bar for an absolutely perfect Barsac. (20/20). 14: Shows a unique minerality on the nose with a perfect, outrageously spicy botrytis. Big, rich and above all highly refined palate, everything focusses on elegance and harmony. Far too young and yet moving. I drank this sip at the winery with Nicolas Tari on a Sunday afternoon. Life sometimes offers impressive privileges.
