Rich purple-garnet colour, dense in the centre, purple shimmer on the outside. Wonderful bouquet, cassis, mulberries, freshly roasted coffee and precious woods. Juicy, delicate palate, wonderful balance, soft, velvety tannins. A melodic phélan which builds on finesse and yet carries an impressive aroma. Still has room for improvement. (17/20). Delicate with a fine touch of grenadine in the cherry bouquet. Elegant, polished and digestible on the palate. The barriques currently impart a (too?) clear sweetness and correspondingly a lot of caramel.
