Great, spicy, full-bodied and also sweet Cabernet bouquet, lots of cedar, black pepper, tobacco, summer truffles, baroque and porting more and more layers in the nose. Big palate, deep terroir notes, balanced astringency. Even if it may lack the finesse of a premier, this Deuxième is great precisely because of its character. Whereby big is an understatement.
