Description
Falstaff: 91/100
When to drink: 1995 to 2032
Medium ruby-garnet colour, broad ochre rim. Delicate animal notes on the nose, fine nougat, pleasant blackberry flavour, exotic spice, attractive and seductive. Juicy on the palate, freshly structured, very elegant, fine texture, mineral aftertaste, delicate sour cherry note, lemony nuances, animating red berry finish.
Fairly light-coloured, brick-red rim. Sweetish bouquet, light caramel, still a surprising amount of roasted notes, Parisette bread crust, behind it red, playful cassis. Light on the palate, showing a red berry acidity that still gives the wine freshness, remains red berry here too. A fine wine that is more like a Saint Julien than a Pauillac.
