Gabriel:

A magnum bottle appeared fully opened and then closed again after a quarter of an hour. The palate is also full of healthy tannins, hinting at even greater potential. The most idiosyncratic aspect is the mint, eucalyptus, chocolate and candied orange peel nose, reminiscent of Heitz. I expect it to reach 19/20 points in three years! Current rating (18/20). 05: Very dark purple colour with a light brick-red rim. Powerful bouquet, radiating a lot of warmth, delicate honey shimmer, dark malt notes, liquorice and a hint of rosemary and mint, appears more mature on the nose than the 88 that was in the glass next to it. Firm on the palate, showing a concentrated, black berry sweetness, round and fat on the outside - very fleshy on the inside. A great Pauillac with eroticism and charm!

Winkler: 19/20
