Drinking maturity drink ( - 2035)
Valuation 19/20
86 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 12 % Merlot, 2 % Cabernet Franc.

It's so much fun. Converted, this is currently the coolest Mouton for its price. (19/20). 16: The nose showed traces of glutamate (beef bouillon), underripe Cabernet notes. Long, elegant and aromatic on the palate. (19/20). 18: Medium-dark garnet-purple colour, few ripe notes. As always, this Mouton begins with very clear roasted notes. These are reminiscent of brown bread, pumpernickel and coffee. In the second attack, there are dried fruits on the one hand, but also a very fine greenish Cabernet shimmer. And this is a typical characteristic of this vintage in the Medoc. The palate is concentrated, finely fleshed with a lingering finish, where coffee and a seductive hint of residual cassis can be found again.
