| Now in its final maturity and therefore also quite mild. For a difficult vintage, it shows quite a lot of harmony. (17/20). 18: Quite dark and appropriately mature. Wooded bouquet, wilted grass, gravy and above it a surge of generous oak with lots of dark roast. Velvety and elegant on the palate, with a sublime balance and beautiful length. Has genuinely surprised me since my last contact. It is still amazingly fit. (17/20). | |
