Instant pleasure. Typical Las Cases sweetness, almost reminiscent of a Ribera del Duero, caramel, butter and milk chocolate flavours. So juicy that you practically don't have to swallow it - it glides down on its own. Fun without end. (18/20). 13: Medium-dark garnet colour, ruby rim. Wonderful bouquet, pralines, candy notes, dark caramel, a fine hint of herbs. On the palate with a compote-like, cherry-like sweetness, soft and full-bodied. For this vintage, which is not particularly well priced, it has a considerable fun factor. The wine is still young and is a love affair. A recommended purchase for those looking for Las-Cases on a very fair budget. |
