Medium wine red colour, appropriately matured. Fine notes of lovage, cedar scent, pencil lead, light, broken peppercorns. This elegant, classic, highly refined Haut-Brion really comes into its own on the palate. There are still some reserves. Shows a brilliant length and an unspectacular size. The Mission is normally more masculine, but this time it's somehow the other way round.
