Deep purple, rich in the centre, garnet shimmer on the rim. Intense, dense bouquet, lots of red cherries, showing a hint of grenadine in its hidden sweetness. The palate also documents a substantial concentration, straightforwardly orientated with a clear goal; to be one of the best Saint Emilions in 20 years. While the change was difficult to approach a few years ago, the last Bélair-Monange's are convincing right from the start. With its maturity, there is even more potential here.
